Customer Experience Review for Calendly
Calendly is a scheduling automation platform that allows its users to create custom invites to meetings. Their clients or coworkers can then use the custom links in order to easily create appointments that automatically get added to all the participants’ calendars. We also use Calendly as our main booking tool, so it’s only fair that we give it a proper review.
Join us in this CX review video, as we take a closer look at Calendly’s setup and figure out just how much does it help you with organizing.
Design - 4.75/5
Calendly’s site design is clean, friendly and inviting. Even though Calendly is a successful company, the overall feel is very honest and down-to-earth, which we love.
When it comes to the branding, we feel Calendly has built a name for itself and the logo they picked is a truly memorable one, so big points here as well.
Usability - 4.5/5
The site loading time is fast and the client experience is so neat and straight-forward that it would almost feel like a shame to not give it a shot.
While the site is pretty easy and straightforward to navigate, for the sake of accessibility, some more refined keyboard controls would go a long way.
The language selection is also there and we feel it includes enough options to do the job pretty well.
Customer service - 0.75/5
When we tried to get in touch, we first found the help center, which looks great and is full of useful information for new and tenured clients alike. There is also a neat section just for developers, so that’s another base covered.
However, when we tried to use the only other option, the chat bot, we were met with a long loading time, followed by an error message, so, in terms of the classic means of contacting support, sadly Calendly doesn’t do so great. We can only hope that the high usability compensates for the lack of direct contact options.
Product - 5/5
As a product, Calendly ranks pretty high, as, even with its free version, it offers users enough functionality to create a basic invite link and schedule one type of meeting. This seems to have been enough for Dominic for a few years, so it might be enough for you as well. 💁♂️
Overall, the free features are great and, if you do decide to also throw in some cash, the already low prices have some really nifty features behind them.
Final Results - 3.75/5
While its lack of support features at the time of the review do drag the score a bit lower than we would’ve expected, we still believe Calendly is a great scheduling tool and, because the free version offers so much value, it’s simply a shame to not give it a shot and see how it can help you and your business.
We trust that, in time, Calendly will be able to sort out a better support channel and we’ll be watching that evolution with great interest, while we cheekily keep using the free version. 🤫
